You don't need to run it with bundler. You've also installed it into an RVM gemset, so you must run it inside that gemset.
Try using rvm-exec:
/var/lib/jenkins/.rvm/bin/rvm-exec @mailcatcher mailcatcher
Or you could create a wrapper per the README instructions:
$ rvm default@mailcatcher --create gem install mailcatcher
$ rvm wrapper default@mailcatcher --no-prefix mailcatcher catchmail
and use:
/var/lib/jenkins/.rvm/bin/mailcatcher
If you're running with process management (i.e. supervisord) you'll either have to make sure it follows the daemonization, or pass --foreground
to mailcatcher.

It’s also a good idea to put autorestart = true
in the Supervisor config, if you want MailCatcher to run at all times. Otherwise, clicking the “Quit” button in the web interface will exit it cleanly, and Supervisor won’t see a reason to restart it.
