First, here is a reminder of how the allocation to reproduction is currently modeled:

As far as I understand when m=1 the allocation to reproduction scales linearly with size. Given that linear or non-linear allocation to reproduction is such a hot topic at the moment, it would be good to explore this further. What kind of m values would agree with the slope of the VB curve at maturity size? And what would it mean for the scaling of reproductive allocation with size?
