We've had some discussion about the use of docker in our tutorials, and my concern is that is makes things more confusing for people who don't already know docker. (And also hides the setup details for people who know docker but specifically want to learn about SingularityNET).
I think we should err more on making the use of docker entirely optional instead of tackling the job of teaching docker... which is large topic to get people familiar and comfortable with. Docker has also changed the install process many many times in the past, so adding install steps to our documentation means more work for us to keep things up to date.
Thus I'm closing this issue for now. Please reopen if people strongly disagree.
