@chrisirhc's PR seems good to me in my testing.
Should the file
attribute in the generated map point to the source file, "sass/core.scss" from the original issue, or the compiled file "css/core.css"? It seems to me that because the source file is contained in the sources
attribute, that file
should point to the compiled file. Mozilla's implementation assumes that file
refers to the "generated filename".
Currently, the sourcemap file
attribute contains the source filename, which is probably incorrect.

This problem is still actual for me :(
File
point to the source file for some reason.
"grunt-sass": "0.11.0"
dist: {
options: {
sourceComments: 'map'
},
files: {
'build/css/production.css': 'css/main.scss'
}
}
Generated map:
{
"version": 3,
"file": "main.scss",
...
}
What could be wrong?

Hi @LostSenSS - I just had same thing and found this issue. I had to set outputStyle: 'compressed'
for it to map to the correct file.

Thank you @db for advice, but it seems like not that was the problem.
Good news that the problem was resolved by itself after update grunt-sass to "0.12.0" :)
