Problem with installing about node-persist HOT 4 CLOSED

smells like the installation failed, what's the output of

npm install -g  node-persist

Do you see a npm-debug.log file in your project files?

or most likely in
C:\Program Files (x86)\nodejs or C:\Program Files\nodejs or somewhere else, depending on where you have your nodejs installed.

Global installation does not seem to work. However, if I install the package locally in my project folder, it works.
Global installation seems to install into C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules. However, these files seem to be not found if I start node from the project folder.

sounds like Windows.NPM setup issue, not a node-persist core issue, sorry can't help much as I am not very familiar with npm on windows.
however, have you tried other repos, globally?

I didn't try other modules yet. I'll monitor and maybe file an Windows.NPM setup issue.
