Hello,
Your IIS provides support for run CGI apps?
from brookframework.
Hi Silvio thanks for for quick response.
Your question is a good one as I have only just installed IIS for the first
time.
- What should I look for in IIS 7.5 Config Manager?
- Was I correct to make cgi-bin folder in wwwroot?
- Was I correct to use the cgi1.o file as the cgi file to place( there are
several cgi1 files produced as output from the compiler)?
Thanks in advance
Martin Fox

I don't know IIS, I use Apache HTTP server. :/

No. Your CGI is your generated executable, probably the cgi1 file.
If you want to taste the Apache too, you can download it here: http://archive.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/httpd-2.2.22-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8t.msi
from brookframework.
I get the same problem if I use cgi1 File (1Mb). I suspect the problem is
with IIS configuration. Maybe I'll try Apache. Thanks for the link.

Hi Silvio
Fixed!!
The problem was indeed in configuring IIS 7.5 for CGI
I changed the compiled output cfg1 file(+-1Mb) to cfg1.exe and then followed
the following link to correctly configure IIS
http://blogs.iis.net/thomad/archive/2010/04/04/how-to-run-a-cgi-program-unde
r-iis-7-0-or-iis-7-5.aspx
ŠBut I am going to take a look at Apache.
Thanks again for your support
