Need system information function. about simplecv HOT 4 CLOSED

Hey, I have solved this issue ( Link : https://github.com/vijaym123/SimpleCV/blob/master/SimpleCV/__init__.py#L21)
It gives information about the :

1. Operating System
2. PIL version
3. OpenCV version
4. Orange Version

Any modifications let me know about it.

Actually I was looking into this last night. There is a better module suited for this:
import platform

This gives system architecture, OS, OS version, python path's, etc.
Now I just need to get it merged in with the rest of the pull request, hopefully this weekend, trying to get the new website up by the end of this weekend as well.

I have integrated platform package.
Please take a look ( https://github.com/vijaym123/SimpleCV/blob/master/SimpleCV/__init__.py ). Do i need to add more code which can fetch more information about the system ?
