Confusing error when dictionary size changes during iteration about cyordereddict HOT 4 CLOSED

Do you get different behavior with Python 3.4's collections.OrderedDict? The code here is directly adapted from the CPython source.

Strangely, collections.OrderedDict does not fail at all.

In [1]: from collections import OrderedDict

In [2]: od = OrderedDict([('a', 1)])

In [3]: for (k, v) in od.items():
   ...:     del od[k]
   ...:

In [4]: od
Out[4]: OrderedDict()

This works even when there are more keys than one.
