Project scrum #3 about squadsearch HOT 3 OPEN

In the past two weeks, I learned Node.js and express.js for my assignment. Then for the project, I implemented the ability to delete events and added the event page component so that we are ready to put everything together when we add our database.

One challenge I ran into was learning to use Node and express. I found it really hard to wrap my head around and also the resources online were all different from each other and never went too in-depth. I had trouble figuring out how my front end would connect to my backend as well.

In the next 3 weeks I plan on learning to use mongoDB for my assignment and on working more on our project, specifically connecting our app to a database, learning material ui for styling our pages, and most of all looking into how to implement the chat feature in our app.

Anthony Baek

In the past two weeks I've been learning Node and Express, working on assignment 3, and building pages for create event, create profile, and create event for the project.

I had a bit of a tough time understanding the connection between redux and express. I also had trouble finding resources that didn't use databases in their material.

In the next two weeks, I plan on learning more about MongoDB, working on assignment 4, planning out the next steps of the project with my group, and learning/using material UI and redux forms.

I worked on assignment 3, search bar implementation and layout for our project. I also setup our backend with couple of APIs, eslint and github action for continous development

Properly setting up the page layout was the most challenging task for me
