Hi, the update of all gems is definitely due soon. Although the Ruby version update might happen last of those, but maybe good to do that at the same time as I think currently there are no decent reasons to stick with 1.8 (as there was with the first versions of 1.9..)

We're planning to move our hosting to Heroku soon, and related to that, I'm planning to do a major update round. I'll also need to check a bit what are the requirements/restrictions of Heroku.

Actually now that I look, it seems the newest Heroku stack requires ruby 1.9.2. So most probably we'll update to that soon. Is that good for you too, or would you need specifically 1.9.3.?

hey! sounds great :)

.2 .3 not a big difference for me, i've seen some comments that rails runs much faster on 1.9.3 and it looks like heroku also supports it: http://blog.heroku.com/archives/2012/5/9/multiple_ruby_version_support_on_heroku/

oh, great. I was looking at this page about stacks: https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/stack but it seems indeed that the support is wider than that table shows. Then we could look at 1.9.3 directly.

i've also sent email to peter explaining that i've stopped using money quite a while ago and only code open source... he have given me access to the whole material almost right away :D

Now all tests pass in Ruby 1.9.3 if you pull the branch feature/ruby1.9.3
It will be merged to develop at some point soon.
