Possibility to export personal data and import that in other instance about sharetribe HOT 5 CLOSED

i would like to add support of syncing data to http://remotestorage.io which could also give option to download/upload instead...
BTW have you looked already at possibility of going NoSQL?

We took a look at MongoDB at one point, and there could be benefits, but it would also require some rethinking for the structure as SQL has some benefits on easiness that comes with the relations. But I heard of many that switch to NoSQL on the most intensive part of their DB, so for us it could make sense to migrate listings to such at some point.

However, we haven't considered this very urgent so far.

i don't see way of making things portable if we don't use UUIDs, incremetal IDs will always cause problem to my knowledge!

@elf-pavlik that makes a lot of sense. We are already using similar UUIDs for identifying people, but we need to move to those in all our resources at some point to make things portable.
