add plain text version of system emails about sharetribe HOT 5 CLOSED

Hi!

We haven't yet put much focus on system admin notification emails. Are you talking about those? The emails sent to users should contain plain text version too (as it is quite easy to do in RoR as you said.)

Are you running Sharetribe server by yourself? There has been so little group doing that so far so tha system admin emails are not very polished as made basically for our needs. :) But this is good point and i think can be improved quite easily.

I'm traveling next week and can't look at this soon, but if you want to take a look check the person_mailer and it's templates to see examples of having both txt and html template.

Pavlik, did you find the solution already? It's a quick change, I can also make it for you if you want.

Or do you mean that all the emails from Sharetribe (like a notification that you got a new message) are sent in HTML only? In that case there is something wrong, because we have both plain text and HTML templates for them, so it should send both.

@Kusti all invite/registration related emails arrived as html only, now i received 'request rejected' which has plain text and private message as well, so it looks like only inv/reg emails miss plain text version...

@elf-pavlik ah, you are correct, invitation email and email confirmation email are currently missing the plain text versions! Looks like someone has been lazy. :) I'll add this to our pivotal tracker.
