It's possible to use many languages already. Tribes currently have only one location on map, but that's probably not too critical as maps etc. should focus initially based on users location. Other types of locality support (timezones, formats etc.) is still pretty weak, but when building those, it could be good to keep in mind the glocal cases. I think it would make most sense to tie those to user accounts instead of tribes.

:)
ATM i create a new glocal tribe on sharetribe.com and it bugs me for required field "Location of your tribe" and if i put "Earth" it finds some weird location... so in the and i felt forced to use 'Brussels' even that people will participate in at least all over Europe. Similar @Kusti have set Paris for location of OuiShare even though people participate from all over.

yep, probably should have possibilities for that. But currently the main focus is in local tribes so this is still minor use case and not too big burden to point somewhere on map.

This issue is outdated since we don't have a form to create a new tribe on sharetribe.com. Closing this but feel free to open if needed.
