Looking at this code:
Line 117 in f2fea49
It seems to me the 2 ELF executables are just being concatenated. But is that enough for the concatenated virus code to be executed? Basically this is 2 ELF files in one.
What I would expect is, that an ELF virus would inject its relocatable code into an ELF binary (eg. via libelf) and put the execution pointer to the virus code first. Which will, after running its injection routines, run the actual code of the original infected file.
Is that hard to achieve?
