Hey @hahmed!
I am not aware of any library that can realistically convert word documents into PDF without actually running Word. At the time when I wrote sablon we did end up converting the documents into PDF but it involved a commercial product installed on a windows server.
Let me know if you happen to find something that works reliably and is open source!

If you don't mind me asking, what commercial software did you use? Looks like I have to go down the same route. I was looking at Aspose for that.

@hahmed as @siegy22 explained we were using a component from PDF Tools. It's installed on a windows server machine and can be interfaced via either an API or network shares. We opted for the network shares and built a web service to wrap them.
