click, select, save ... 3 steps. how many steps do you need and why is plupload better? that said, I don't like uploadify, but plupload ... I don't know if that's a good idea.

I really appreciate your response and all the work you have done with Filebrowser. It has been an invaluable resource. But I do believe there're more than just 3 actions necessary to upload images.
- Access Filebrowser and click "Upload"
- Click "Browse"
- Select the images from HD
- Click "Open"
- Click "Upload" and wait for images to upload
- Click on the breadcrumbs at top of screen to move back up to select the images to be added to some content
In my mind the steps minimizing steps 2 - 6 would really help users.
I'm only starting to consider at plupload and would love to hear what makes it not a good idea based on your experience.
Thanks,
Alex
P.S. I did look for a mailing list to ask these questions before filing this issue and I hope this is the right place to ask.

well, of course I only mentioned the steps to actually upload stuff. step 1 and 6 on your list are irrelevant, right?
if we replace uploadify, then only with something small and clean. plupload doesn't fit in that category IMO. and I'm pretty pleased with the way uploading works right now (UX-wise). there are far more important issues to work on.
