we´ve had that. and there have been complaints about the queue not being removed. so I guess it doesn´t matter how we solve it – somebody always feels it should be the other way round.
maybe we should add a setting.

+1 on the change, current users have no idea what happened after they chose a file

Another alternative would be to display "Upload done." text until next upload is started.
