Thanks for letting us know! That's not a very helpful error message indeed.
We've investigated your issue and found that you are accidentally re-encoding your jpg images as pngs during uploading, causing them to exceed the maximum file size limit. Your confusion probably stems from our documentation on uploading files as assets, which didn't present a very good example.
We've updated our documentation (https://docs.segments.ai/python-sdk#upload-a-file-as-an-asset) and made a small update to the Python SDK (update with pip install --upgrade segments-ai) to simplify things.
You can follow these new instructions if you want to upload more images in the future, but there's no need to re-upload the images that are currently already in your dataset. Hope this helps!
