Fine, now it works.

Nonetheless, I need to remove the following directive from the searxng.conf ini that filtron creates

#proxy_set_header X-Script-Name /;

to make it work.

Any advice is welcome.

EDIT: ok, I think I know what happened. I guess that, given that the search engine is in a subdomain and not in a subdirectory, the proxy_set_header X-Script-Name was redirecting to itself over and over. Filtron seems to work correctly now.
