unexpected internal error: u'default' about portia HOT 6 CLOSED

Blowing away slyd/data/cache/slyd/* and a restart didn't fix it, though there was no caching going on in the spew. I assume I hosed my project/template/item/annotation/field somehow.
Is there documentation anywhere?

Starting a new project and starting with the same URL that was broken in the prior project seems to clear the problem for now.

I've also seen this issue after renaming the default item class.

As @kmike states, this happens when you rename the default item type without updating the reference (extracted item type) in the template. There is no consistency check between templates and items in portia yet.

HTTP CACHE is enabled by default. it's suspicious. @gordon-morehouse could you verify it again after #72 get merged? (or you can just comment out the HTTPCACHE_DIR and HTTPCACHE_ENABLED in slyd/sldy/settings.py)

I may or may not be able to - I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment and solved my problem with a different piece of software, so when I get a moment I'll have to check if I still have portia installed and on what machine. I'll do my best.
