Plugin.FirebasePushNotifications seems to be the way to go. Basics have been added into the project.
I am now looking to include scheduled push notifications to remind people to celebrate their Little Victories. This will be controlled by a preference switch in Preferences to turn it on or off.

I am questioning whether I want to use Local Notifications or Push Notifications. Push Notifications seems to be a lot more effort, but I'm wondering if Local Notifications can do what I want it to do.
