Clickable overlay to close a panel? about scotch-panels HOT 5 CLOSED

I would probably just hide the overlay on all IE though. I have a feeling IE will have trouble handling the overlay and transforms together.

Ah that works perfectly. Didn't think about adding an extra overlay element. I was trying to make it work with the .scotch-is-open element. Thanks!

If you don't care about actually having an overlay and just want to close the menu when you click off of the open menu, this works for me:

    $('.scotch-panel-canvas').on('click', function(event) {

      if ($(this).is('.scotch-is-showing')) {
        event.preventDefault();
        $mainNav.close();
      }
    });
