Just setting the container to fixed does not work ...

Here is another off canvas menu that is able to use 100% of the browser height, even if the body content doesn't goto the bottom. I'd recommend the Scotch dev take a look at the CSS they use and implement something similar.

@Jakobud : Where? This? http://jpanelmenu.com (free)?
I have created a working example with jPanelMenu here above Supersized:

another Slideshow:

The only flaw right now is that the Content is pushed anytime even if the Menu would not overlab it.
This is annoying especially when using centered content.

Hey guys, unfortunately scotchPanels doesn't out-of-the-box support for fixed options. I'll try and figure out a work-around demo though for that.
Also, the panel height is only as big as its container.

Ah sorry I mean't to paste in this link, in my previous reply:

That off canvas menu is using some CSS that allows a full height menu, despite the body content length.

When I open the Menu I can no longer scroll: http://www.christopheryee.ca/pushy/

jpanels seems to be the best solution at the moment when you like to get a fixed menu.

Although scotchPanels.js works on a "push" model versus a "reveal" model. Here's a working, responsive example using scotchPanels.js. I just had to get creative with it. - http://codepen.io/ncerminara/pen/Acybr

Thank you !

Here is a second example too - http://codepen.io/ncerminara/pen/fwHjL
I'm closing this! Thanks for checking out the plugin.

Thanks for your examples! But when the content of the page is shorter than the browser height it gets a strange result. Check my image. Any idea how to fix this?

Any ideas? This stops me from switching to ScotchPanels in our app.
