argpairs behavior not as expected about awkward-0.x HOT 3 CLOSED

A simple workaround is

array = awkward.JaggedArray.fromiter([[1,2,3], [], [2,3], [4,5,6]])
apairs = array.argpairs()
apairs = awkward.Table({'0': apairs._0-array.starts, '1': apairs._1-array.starts})
assert (array[apairs._0] == array.pairs()._0).all().all()

Aha! Because of the jagged broadcasting! This is not a workaround, but a solution that should be added to the library. I planned to as something like this today (won't have to figure it out now), moving the current argpairs to _argpairs (so that pairs can still use it, as-is) and add a new argpairs that does this. If you beat me to it with a PR, I won't complain.

Additionally, I want to meet up with you today to help you with these JaggedArrayMethods issues.
