Error when we create certificate without hosted zone about serverless-certificate-creator HOT 2 CLOSED

If you take a look at the documentation in the readme it says:

hostedZoneName: 'somedomain.io.' //required if hostedZoneId is not set
hostedZoneId: 'XXXXXXXXX' //required if hostedZoneName is not set
...
This is important for the validation of your certificate. You are right, that the certificate is created no matter what - but it is not yet functional until you validate that you are the owner of the domain. You can do that with email or dns validation. This plugin only supports dns validation and that requires the information about the hosted zone (Either the name or the id), otherwise we cannot create the validation record in route53 .

Coming back to your issue. Could you please tell me what you would like to happen? The only thing i can see that should be done is to fail earlier with a error message that the hosted zone params are not set.
