diff spec/basic-extend-tests/ spec/extend-tests/ tells me:

Those three differences are probably not enough reason for the duplication, right?

Yeah, if I recall, the duplication is a result of me copying some tests around while reorganizing and trying to figure out what should go where. The test driver is flexible enough to handle some duplication and messiness in the test folders, so I never got around to cleaning them up.

Since it looks like extend-tests is on the winning side, would you be ok with a PR to remove basic-extend-tests?
