please note I am not familiar with Gardner, I've just copied charts of Kyma colleagues to official chart of BTP operator like they requested in order not to maintain twice #111 ,
The validations that I've made are on regular cluster with cert manager.

In this case it is not official supported - or?
Did you have any contact on the kyma side to ask for an example configuration?

not officially, you can try it out though.
There wasn't a BLI for that, this is what Kyma colleagues did in their forked repository of BTP operator.
