Okay, so this issue is resolved in the new version in PR #37. I realize this is not helpful for you right now.
A potential hack to get you around this until that is merged and released is to convert the offending line to regex:
router.add(r"/v1/c/<c_id:\d+>/d", handler=handler1, methods=["GET"])The one problem with this is that you need to be aware that the injected c_id will be a str and not an int for that one handler. So, you will need to do the type conversion yourself.
On the bright side, this will work with the next gen and if you do not mind, I would like to add these patterns as a unit test.
