I've implemented this for the exo2mat conversion. It currently outputs cell-arrays for the element blocks (name, id, toplogy type, connectivity), node sets (name, id, node_list, distribution_factors), side sets (name, id, element list, side list, nodes per side list, node list, distribution factors).

Also for the global, nodal, element, nodeset, and sideset variables (var_name, var_values)

To activate this, use the "-c" option when running exo2mat.

Hi, Greg.

My simulation results were saved in Exodus II format. I am not familiar with this file, so I am seeking methods to read this data using MATLAB. I was wondering if you would be willing to share your 'exo2mat' function.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Xin

You can download the seacas package from this GitHub site and it will build exo2mat and mat2exo as part of the installation process.
