Wouldn't you need to provide a way for Flecs to be able to serialize the struct? Now I'm not familiar with C++ nor have I used this feature myself, but I believe you use Flecs' meta addon to achieve this. There are some examples of how to do it as well.

Thanks! looks like this was the case, I assumed ecs_world_to_json is a out of box solution for primitives but it wasn't
from flecs.
