Running somewhere about trumpocalypse HOT 8 OPEN

AFAIK github does not require config.yaml. Your site as of this change was working for me (index.html rendered) you just needed to rename the dir so it doesn't have an underscore as the first character.

I created a sample trumpocalypse site you should be able to fork, but I haven't been able to test it since I have my user page redirecting to my personal UI which breaks everything.

I don't know anyone else who has forked it for their own use, but the instructions in the README should work. I hope.

@Sagelt I have not been able to get it up. I setup GitHub Pages (https://fastidious.github.io/), but it is not clear where on my empty repo I need to place things. Could you help?

If you rename the '_posts' folder to 'posts' you should be set.

By default jekyll doesn't publish folders that begin with underscores.

I don't have a _posts directory. Using GitHub Pages, committing to GH will generate the site (using their server side jekyll, I do not have jekyll installed locally), yes? Never felt so lost, sorry. :-(

Ooops, typo on my part. Meant: change '_pages' to 'pages'

You were really close at https://github.com/Fastidious/fastidious.github.io/tree/0a255e39fba5c76c77ca01e22371b5033834ac21, all you needed to do was rename '_pages' to 'pages'

Could you do it as a standalone Jekyll site? I feel I am missing pieces (_config.yaml, for example).

Github's official pages set up guide does not require adding a config.yaml: https://pages.github.com/
