Help is needed for the iOS side (see the README page).
I'll create a separate issue for iOS support since I expect others would also like to see it work on both platforms.

There are no roadblocks for gapless playback on the audio_service side, so it will come down to what 3rd party plugin you use to play the actual audio. Also, in theory it is possible to expose any platform capabilities to flutter through an appropriate plugin, so if the audioplayers plugin doesn't support gapless playback, you can file a feature request with that project.
