Yeah, I know it looks so, but, there is no such problem on 6.8.0.
In the end I've decided to spend some time and migrated to 7.2.0 last night, fixed that 1 second polling issue I've mentioned in Telegram-chat, and it now runs perfectly without any problems. So issue can be closed now I guess.
