This should be fixed now, you can do:
pres_rgbif <- occurrencelist(scientificname='Erebia gorge*', maxresults = 2000, coordinatestatus = TRUE, removeZeros = FALSE)
note that the parameter latlongdf is now removed as data.frame is the only output format. (whereas you could output XML before as an option)
