This package uses the laravel Storage to generate the image url:
echo Storage::disk($disk)->url($file);
You can make this url relative by changing the url of your disk in config/filesystems.php

'url' => env('APP_URL').'/storage', // change this to: 'url' => '/storage', for example to remove the domain from it
