Hmm I think saving the layout with the .ptex file is not a good idea since several .ptex files can be open at the same time.
But being able to save and restore layouts is definitely a nice feature for next release.

@RodZill4 Ah yeah, that makes sense about not saving to the .ptex file. Saving/restoring global layouts is more elegant anyway.
