Using ubuntu18.04 rocm4.5.2 source to build rocclr: readme file stat

build is ok but make install fails, it is not clear how to install onto deafult /opt/rocm directory as a result. about rocclr HOT 5 OPEN

it appears no make install target available looking at make help output.

There is a warning:
CMake Warning (dev) at CMakeLists.txt:26 (message):
ROCclr is being built as a standalone project. This isn't supported anymore.
You would need to build HIP/OCL runtime. ROCclr is just a static lib inside those projects and not a standalone component.

i saw this. Do you hipamd by HIP. OCL is Opencl-Runtime??

I am having same issue.

user@compute2:~/amd/runtime/ROCclr/build$ sudo make install
make: *** No rule to make target 'install'.  Stop.
user@compute2:~/amd/runtime/ROCclr/build$ sudo make
Consolidate compiler generated dependencies of target rocclr
[100%] Built target rocclr
