It seems this function only exists on Windows 8.1 and up. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/dxgi1_3/nf-dxgi1_3-createdxgifactory2#requirements)
What Windows version are you using?

This is weird since CreateDXGIFactory2 is not even located in d3d11.dll: could you send me the copy of C:\Windows\System32\dxgi.dll on your computer? You can attach it to this bug but you might need to put it in a zip file to make GitHub happy about accepting the upload.

I'm getting this issue as well. On both a Windows 10 PC and the steam deck. After installation the game will not launch

Could I get you to:
- Delete
dxgi.dll. - Unzip xinput1_4.zip and put
xinput1_4.dllinto the folder instead?

Actually, I found the real problem. 09bd70d fixes this. https://github.com/RockmanEXEZone/chaudloader/releases/tag/v0.6.2 will be released shortly.
