Thank you for your interest on the package and for your feedback.
I'll investigate in a few days. It seem that a last 9 digit is discarded only if the code starts with letters.

Oh yes. I know where the code fails. It's in the function that the input
text is encoded searching for the shortest one.
Maybe, in a few days I hope to rewrite it completely. Sorry about that. My
job presses me at this moment.

Bug resolved with a complete rewriting of the Code128 encoder.
New implementation was tested and it works.
Grab the new version and save in in the local directory or wait until CTAN archive is updated with the new version v0.0.12.

Roberto, thank you very much! It works like a charm now indeed, I've already generated lots of labels and they all read correctly, the tool is great!
However, when I tested it, I ran into some problems with symbols: # is being encoded as ##, and I can't figure out how to escape % character, because \% is being encoded literally, as \%. I don't use this symbols, but wanted to let you know. Thanks for not abandoning the project!
