Yes, if the preset contains arguments it needs to either be put in double quotes or the argument prefixes within the preset need to be escaped with \ since the arguments should not actually be parsed as arguments for the preset command but rather should be treated as raw command input. The examples shown by the help command are correct, but the top.gg page needs to be updated. The error message is a bit long but it does mention to escape the argument prefix with \ to treat it as command input.

Encapsulating in quotation marks "{commandToPreset}" first argue will solve this, quite logicly.

Example :

$botify preset "play $spotify $own $list %s" $as playlist

Yet, rather than do nothing, I would suggest a little documentation update.

It's good for me, the message was quite clear indeed.
No problem with the fact that it is a detailled/long error message, it makes things even clearer !
Maybe see for the top.gg "Preset" section, so that any kind of user can fully rely on preset example without having to interpret a first error.
