Markdown (.md) files is recognized as plain text, not markdown about moped HOT 11 CLOSED

Testing completed for:

Added several types to syntax highlight detection:
Nimrod, Makefile, Bash scripts, C++ headers, Objective-C headers, Objective C++ headers, Rust sources and Kotlin sources.
Registered Nimrod source files for Import.
Imported type identifiers for TeX/LaTex, Rust and Kotlin files.

Pull requested, fixes available on next release.

yes, for me the plaintext is set by defauly on md files too

Kotlin is currently not supported for detection, but hang-on - it will be on the next release 😉

@danieltomasz I'm a bit puzzled on this one... TXT, MD, Markdown, HTML, XML and CS should all be detected. I took a fresh install of Big Sur and installed only Moped, then got a few test files and they are all picked up and detected properly:

As mentioned above, could you please post a screenshot? Note the bottom left of the Moped windows, they have the file identification (UTType), what is the one you see?

I use Yaml header often in my markdown files, this might be a problem
field:: is also custom syntax to Dataview plugin in Obsidian - it allows me to query these fields later :)

If I am opening a simple file with md extension it work
