Ah, I see how that could be problematic. Normally, I would just put it in a setTimeout
, but I'll explore some options.

I am definitely familiar with this type of issue. Can you help me see a repro of the problem though, maybe based on this fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/rniemeyer/JMjEV/? It seems like the class is considered "live". Maybe I am not understanding your case properly.

Sigh, I'm finding it impossible to reproduce. My use-case is sorting the th
elements of a table in order to reshuffle column order in a table. However, when I update the fiddle to match this case, everything works... So it's probably a subtle interaction somewhere but I'm not sure where. Sorry about that!
Regardless, the setTimeout
fixes the problem so maybe it's not a bad idea to leave that in.

OK- I'll look into it a bit more. Was thinking about just executing the template bindings update
in the init (in a ko.computed) prior to initializing .sortable
. Can just build the arguments once and apply
to init/update.
