More info...
If you just let var.log_bucket remain null, you receive the following error during plan:
Error: Missing required argument
with module.al2_base_image_pipeline.aws_imagebuilder_infrastructure_configuration.this,
on .terraform/modules/al2_base_image_pipeline/main.tf line 158, in resource "aws_imagebuilder_infrastructure_configuration" "this":
