venv does not work on arch linux (opengram and precise not installed) about rhasspy HOT 8 CLOSED

Yes, this should be possible to do automatically. Not sure why I wasn't before! I'll add this to create-venv.sh

somethings seem to get installed during make now, but it was still missing these:
fstproject
fsttopsort
fstrandgen
fstrmepsilon
fstprint
fstconvert

(had to copy and patchelf origin them)

Also the path to .venv/tools/kaldi and .venv/tools (?) doesn't get set, when running rhasspy-voltron

I'm looking into moving Rhasspy's venv install process to use autotools (autoconf, automake, etc). This will hopefully allow for the familiar "./configure, make, make install" process. My understanding is this would make installation easier under Arch too. Any thoughts or suggestions?

not sure if this would open up a can of worms - the idea to auto-download some of the binary dependencies might be the better choice here as most source packages regarding AI seem to be broken (compiling them is really hard as you know and so specific to some dependencies)
