How can I decide the origin of the cropped image when it is square? right now the crop is right in the middle. Thanks

no, what I did: I moved the video view upwards so it will look centered

@alexeyndru Not sure if it's the same case with you. I was able to get this to show correctly. It turns out I needed to connect the preview-view to the preview layer after the views were laid out. So in my case in viewdidappear instead of viewdidload.

Moving the center upward won't work for me (since I actually want to display full screen but record the top square). Is there any way to crop from the top?
