I suppose I should also note that while logged in, the mobile site is incredibly not mobile friendly at the moment

Is mobile compatibility in progress already? What help is needed there if any? I just started using this for our new mini-pig wiki on pigipedia.org and loving it so far except for how bad it is on mobile. I'm more than happy to help contribute in this area. It honestly feels like it's already most of the way there. We just need the menu to slide out when hidden by small screen media queries and the top navigation bar pretty much just needs to hide the search box behind a magnifying glass that can be tapped. Or stick the search box in the side menu on smaller screens.
If you're accepting PRs for these things I'll start diving in.
