Vite + Express: Error: No route matches URL about remix HOT 4 CLOSED

You can control these logs:

• You can control the remix handler logs via handleError
• There is also a console.log in the default error boundary, so to get rid of that you should provide your own ErrorBoundary in root.tsx (if you haven't already)
• No routes matched location "/config.js" is a dev-only message from the react router render so that will not show up in production
• GET /config.js 404 - - 17.249 ms is from the default morgan logger (app.use(morgan("tiny"))), so you control that in your express server as well

So I implemented a simple handleError function to ignore the error coming from react router.

  if (error.message.startsWith('No route matches URL')) {
    return;
  }

  console.error(error);
}

Honestly, it feels wrong to implement the condition 🤔

You can detect the status code via isRouteErrorResponse

if (isRouteErrorResponse(error) && error.status === 404) {
  return;
}

You also probably want to skip logging errors from aborted requests to match the default behavior (see https://remix.run/docs/en/main/file-conventions/entry.server#handleerror)
