It looks like this is not a problem with teamocil itself but with how you install gems. Are you using some kind of ruby version manager like rvm or rbenv? Because otherwise, when you install a gem with gem install <something> and the gem provides an executable, it should become available in your path immediately.

Thanks, Remi... interesting: I use rbenv and other gems that install executables have worked just fine... I’ll check things out and get back to you, but I’m not optimistic at this point as other things seem to be working.

I use rbenv

Usually, you have to run rbenv rehash when you install a new gem that provides an executable. Let me know if that works!

that did it; sorry... 1st day working with rbenv ~ rvm doesn't require this...jon
