Thanks for the hint. The problem is that different tools might use different notations. JVM uses the Lfoo/bar notation, which is equivalent to foo.bar .
Similarly, arrays can either be denoted via [I / [[I (JVM) or int[] / int[][] . Our analysis is built on the WALA framework that uses a weird mix of notations. The permission lists are exported in a normalized, readable manner. It seems that the return value is not correctly normalized when being an array type. I'll have a look at this soon.
