and if I do .. I get this error:

Ditto here. Plus always an empty line before a trigger.
Not:

Editable = true;
trigger OnValidate();
begin
end;

but:

Editable = true;

In the current version my code doesn't have much sense of context, so I can't tell if I'm looking at an end; of e.g. a function or a loop. So I can't reliably create carriage returns.

I'm working on a major refactor of the entire code, which is build on the same structure as a compiler. So the code will be much more context aware and I can control exactly where the code is formatting.
